Super-aromatic DIPA. Nose is very aggressive. Quite pungent and dank at first, mango, guava, apricot, pine, and grapefruit. Pleasant, mellow boozy warmth through the middle. Spicy and light floral hop flavors with maltiness beneath. The huge over ripe melon taste is masterful and ABV is well hidden. Taste follows with a really explosive tropical fruit upfront with pine resin, grapefruit rind and warming alcohol in the enormous semi-dry finish. This beer is an absolute pleasure to drink.

There is a distinct woodsy and earthy character to this old ale. Hints of spruce and allspice in the background. Enormous complexity here, as each new sip unveils additional and complimentary flavors. Alcohol is noticed only in the aftereffect. The finish is caramel apple, dipped in spiced rum.

West Coast Barleywine. Floral and earthy aromas up front. Leather, caramel, stone fruit, bread and honey. Far less hoppy than the typical American barleywine but still quite different than an English iteration. The flavor of wildflower honey is distinct and sweet on the tongue.
